We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on our contact form to protect against spam and automated abuse. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3.3 Payment Processing

We work with third-party payment processors including Stripe (for direct purchases from checklist.makeindustry.com) and Contra (for consulting services and project-based work). We do not directly collect, process, or store credit card information.

3.4 Email Communications

We use Formspree to process and deliver contact form submissions to our email.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use essential cookies required for website functionality, analytics cookies (Google Analytics — can be opted out), bot protection (Google reCAPTCHA), and localStorage for progress tracking in digital products.

Contact Form Submissions: Retained for 3 years from date of last contact, or until you request deletion.

Purchase Records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax law.

Account Information: Retained while your account remains active; deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.

Checklist Progress Data: Retained for as long as your account is active; removed as part of account deletion (processed within 30 days).

Analytics Data: Retained according to Google Analytics settings (typically 26 months).

Our services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Users

Make Industry is based in Montana, United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process personal data based on legitimate interests for analytics and security, contract performance for purchases and account management, and legal obligation for compliance requirements.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of analytics tracking. When we detect a GPC signal, we disable Google Analytics for your session. This applies to all Make Industry web properties.
